Theresia Gruber
Only very little can be told today about Theresia Gruber’s life. Born in Schärding, at the end of 1914, at the age of twenty-one she started her work as assistant nurse with the Red Cross. In the last years of the war she worked in the then General Hospital (today’s old AKH – Allgemeines Krankenhaus) in Vienna, where she continued working as a nurse after the end of the First World War.
