Leopold Wolf
Leopold Wolf, first lieutenant in the reserves with the Imperial-Royal Fortress Artillery Regiment No. 7, experienced the First World War among other locations on the Eastern and Italian Fronts. The Viennese man’s comprehensive photograph albums not only cast light on his everyday life as an officer, but also contains photos of war-related destruction and fallen or captive soldiers of the opposing powers. In 1917 Leopold Wolf married the milliner Christine Antonizek, whom he had met a few months before the outbreak of the First World War.
