The caricature describes the Czech efforts to win allies: The symbol of Bohemia, the lion with two tails, dissatisfied with its existence in the Hapsburg Empire, tries its luck with the French, the Russians and the Serbs, ending up finally on Prussia's leash with a muzzle over its mouth.
