“Mayor’s cloakroom”, caricature of the Christian Social Mayor of Vienna, Richard Weiskirchner from the Arbeiterzeitung of 15 November 1913

The caricature plays on Weiskirchner’s political changeability, and shows him, from left to right, as a forthright German-Austrian and clericalist, then as an heir of Karl Lueger, whose mask he is holding in his hands, and finally as a politician loyal to the state and the government.
